A non-governmental organization or NGO, is a not-for-profit organization that is independent from states and international governmental organizations, usually funded by donations although some shun donations and are entirely run by volunteers. There are various definitions and types of NGOs. At ISpark we have supplied our education kits to several different NGOs for deploying the kits either at their own premises for their own children or to their associated ventures or schools where such kits are adequately used.
Some NGOs usually have an express focus to assist children, some focus on specially abled children, some others have developed expertise in certain types of disabilities or illnesses. Our experience is that in almost all cases, the ISpark education kit is a natural fit assisting teachers in helping children learn reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, practicing writing and even motor skill development, multi-sensory development and so on.
